Design and installation of steel framing, panels and windows

We are proud to present another major milestone achieved by our team: a massive industrial cladding and redevelopment project in the Venice province.

The project involved the structural enclosure of the open side of a large existing logistics canopy, transforming it into a protected, safe, and functional workspace. To handle the exceptional dimensions of the facade — stretching an impressive 100 meters in length and about 10 meters in height — our company managed the entire process: from structural design and calculation to workshop fabrication and on-site assembly.

To create the load-bearing framework, we used approximately 49 tons of structural steel, fully treated with a hot-dip galvanizing process to ensure maximum long-term protection and durability against corrosion. The project required complex and coordinated installation work, which included:

  • Support structure: Construction of the steel framing, anchored to the foundations and existing structures.
  • Thermal envelope: Installation of nearly 1,000 square meters of sandwich wall panels, featuring an internal mineral wool insulation core to guarantee strength and safety.
  • Natural light: Supply and installation of a continuous band of aluminum windows, 100 meters long and 3 meters high, totaling 300 square meters of glazing that provides outstanding internal lighting.
  • Precision finishes: Adaptation of the water drainage system (gutters and downspouts), installation of emergency exit doors, and fitting of all connecting flashings.

A project that demonstrates our flexibility in working on existing buildings, delivering a complete, aesthetically refined, and ready-to-use structure to the client.
